Exploring Flickr

I've checked out Flickr before and found some neat art pictures. I love the idea of a kaliedescope. I have always been drawn to them since I was a child. Today I checked out Flickr color pickr. That was cool. The purple shades look the best to me. I made a raven card at the Trading Card Maker site. I also checked into Spell with Flickr. I chose words like Celtic and moon. That was really cool. It gave me some ideas for my artwork. I'm amazed how much there is out there to learn. I briefly looked at Montagr Mosaic photos. I would love to try that when I have more time.

It's snowing here in Oregon! A couple of days ago it was 11 degrees. My favorite season is spring. I pretty much hibernate in the winter. I've been staying home and working on my art projects. I'm looking forward to the longer days. Dec. 21st I believe is Winter Solstice. I bought me enough art supplies to carry me through the winter. Watercolors, acrylics, colored pencils, crayons, sketchpads and journals. My two puppies and cat are keeping me company and keeping me warm.
